Good Governance on AI in Social and Education Policies

Indonesia stands at a critical juncture where rapid technological advancements intersect with urgent human development needs, demanding comprehensive policy responses that prioritize cultural empowerment and social welfare in the era of artificial intelligence. Policy-Making in the field of AI governance needs to strengthen policy responses for an inclusive social and economic empowerment and support social welfare delivery with human-centered AI governance, prioritizing inclusive empowerment while addressing fundamental gaps in digital readiness and institutional capacity. FES together with its partner organization Center for Digital Society/CfDS at the University Gadjah Mada contributes with a set of activities including policy recommendations, capacitating stakeholders in various sectors of social and educational profession and affected groups of citizens towards an informed and regulated AI implementation.
