Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection, this Personal Data Protection Notice sets out how Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Indonesia Office (FES Indonesia) collects, uses, retains and discloses your personal data.

FES Indonesia recognizes its responsibilities in relation to the collection, retaining, processing, using and the disclosure of personal data. The provision of your personal data is voluntary. FES Indonesia collects personal data in the following manner:

Purposes for which personal data is Collected, Used or Disclosed
FES Indonesia collects, uses and discloses personal data for the following purposes:

  • Evaluating your suitability for participation in our activities, collaborations in our projects and/or employment with FES Indonesia;
  • Establishing a relationship with FES Indonesia as a partner, alumni, etc.
  • Responding to your requests or queries including requests and queries from your authorized representatives and individuals purporting to be you;

  • Providing ad-hoc or regular information about your relationship with FES Indonesia;

By interacting with FES Indonesia, submitting information to FES Indonesia, or signing up to participate in any of FES Indonesia programmes and activities, you consent to FES Indonesia’s to use and retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the above purposes. Reasonable steps will be taken to delete, destroy or anonymize your personal data when it is no longer necessary for any of the above purposes.

Who may be provided with your Personal Data
FES Indonesia will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FES Indonesia or our website; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of FES Indonesia and our website; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of our website, or the public.

Consequences of Consent Withdrawal
Individuals may withdraw their consent for FES Indonesia or our website to collect, use or disclose their personal data by giving FES Indonesia reasonable notice, using the “Withdrawal of Consent Form” which is available on request from us.

However, withdrawal of your consent for FES Indonesia or our website to collect, use or disclose your personal data will render FES Indonesia being unable to continue any collaborations or participation in FES Indonesia programmes and activities.
